Only a week away, it’s time to start planning your outfit.
Here are some guidelines.
- Original tournament rules allowed for only white or cream clothing with the exception for team jerseys. For those submitting a premade team, talk to your teammates to see if you can all match.
- A great Bowl often requires dropping to one knee. Make sure to wear something you can comfortably take a knee in, or risk detracting from a perfect game.
- To keep the pristine pitch conditions it is required that all bowlers wear flat soled shoes. Running shoes, sneakers, and flip flops are ideal but barefoot is always an option.
- The heat and glare from the sun has made hats a usual part of one’s attire. Be a little more creative than the standard baseball cap.
- The goal of the night is to have fun! Having an awesome outfit will put you in a mood to have an awesome evening.
- There will be a prize for the best dressed individual, strive for classy yet creative.
Remember that we do have coaches training us and organizing the tournament so don’t worry about your bowling skills but something to tell people if things don’t go quite right.
I’m not bowling. I’m helping to flatten the green.
